Top wings: start by sewing into top of body and work small Holes at regular intervals. Sew off into braid. Underwings: start at the tip and, after sewing into the body, work inner passive pair in half-stitch. Sew off into upper wing. 3. Butterfly wing fillings: Lattice – 1 in upper wings and Mesh in underwings. 4. Sew off into the braid. Work the remaining pairs around the curve in Ammonite, throwing out pairs as the braid narrows.
